While our country shops for gifts and makes elaborate preparations for celebrating Christmas and the holidays, there are many children here who will get nothing, probably thousands of them. For the eighth year, Oceti Wakan is having a drive to bring a ray of hope to these children’s lives.

  We ask them what they want, especially the children who are going to our classes and striving to learn good ways, and we work hard to give them what is in their heart. We’ve had young ones say anything from crayons to dolls, and we have given many bikes away - along with good food for the day. It’s been a great success but only because of your support! We made a big difference in over 80 children’s holidays last year!
